Workplace Mediation

Corporate conflicts, disputes

Shareholders disputes

Most businesses are established by people who already have a relationship: friends, family members, and former colleagues. Just like in marriages, in the beginning, they all believe that whatever happens, they can work it out. And just like in marriages, problems appear and disagreements follow that may develop into disputes perplexing the functioning of the organization. The only way to restore all or some of the trust, or peacefully end the relationship without unnecessary loss is to use mediation to resolve the dispute.

Breach of confidentiality and/or non-compete clause

It is a very common scenario, that an employee leaves to work for a direct competitor or starts a business and becomes a direct competitor himself/herself. Confidentiality agreements and non-compete clauses can be deterrents, but still, this is one of the most frequent post-employment disputes. Given the sensitive nature of such a conflict, in which usually both parties try to keep the dispute under wraps, mediation can be the solution.

Conflict between employees

A new employee, manager, or any organizational change causes stress and can lead to conflict. Such conflicts can cause the malfunction of the organization and ultimately damage the company culture, creating losses that are difficult to quantify. The sooner such conflicts are dealt with, the better the prospects for an optimal solution.
